dee's Heltzel-type straight flatwork forms are designed to be comparable to, and compatible with, the old Heltzel flatwork forms used for concrete flatwork placement with both 2" and 3" rails.

Our forms are available in heights from 4" to 24" and made from 10-gauge steel. dee's straight Heltzel-type flatwork forms are offered in standard 10-foot lengths and include 2 stake positions.

Heltzel-type flatwork forms - description

dee 2" and 3" rail Heltzel-type straight flatwork forms are manufactured without our normal reinforcement gussets and bracing since market end-users have requested this design change.

Besides our Heltzel-type flatwork forms, dee also offers our industry-standard straight and radius flatwork forms, plus and extensive line of flatwork forming accessories.

Applications

dee's Heltzel-type straight flatwork forms are perfect for forming sidewalks, driveways, footings, industrial slabs, foundations, patios, and general other general flatwork applications. They can also be combined with our curb and gutter and high curb forms and accessories to form all types of curb and gutter and high curb configurations.

Specifications/range of sizes

dee offers the Heltzel-type straight flatwork forms with either 2" or 3" rails. This style form is available in heights from 4" to 24". Forms with heights up to 10" are manufactured with 2- single wedge stake pockets. Forms between 11" and 17" come with 2- double wedge stake pockets and those forms between 18" and 24" include 2- rows of double wedge stake pockets.

• Are manufactured from 10-gauge steel to provide concrete contractors with a sturdy replacement form for their current Heltzel form allowing concrete contractors to optimize their existing inventory of forms.

• Are manufactured to easily transition to, or from, dee's radius forms, using a specially-made dee transition form , providing the contractors with a simple means of utilizing dee's spring steel radius forms that do not deflect like hot rolled competitive radius forms saving labor costs while getting perfect radius forming results.

• Can be manufactured with either 2" or 3" rails dependent on the concrete contractors form height requirement easily matching existing form rails.

• Are manufactured with sleeve ends to allowing easy combination with contractors existing Heltzel flatwork forms saving setup times.

• Are available in heights from 4"-24" in 1/2" increments ensuring the concrete contractor can easily get the correct form height required keeping old Heltzel forms from becoming obsolete.

• Are manufactured without dee's trademark bracing and gussets, reducing form weight and ensuring compatibility with existing Heltzel forms allowing one laborer to easily set up Heltzel-type forms up to 12" heights saving labor costs and reducing injury downtime.
